In this game, you are walking through an area known for it's beautiful wild animals. Legend has it, there used to be a kingdom here that owned many animals of the highest quality. The king had no heir, so as he grew old and sick, he had no successor. With no leader, the kingdom dispersed, some leaving their extravagant creatures behind. The animals populated and over the years, their population grew to over a thousand. They may be numerous but they are extremely difficult to catch as they are far more intelligent than your average creature...
The goal of this game is to find and catch as many animals as you can, then either keep them or take them to the creature trader. I'll give you an example of how to play~
Me- To your surprise, a lion cub walks up from behind you, looking at you curiously! It must not have had much experience with humans... what will you do?
a) Take your rope and run at em!
b) Walk up slowly with the rope behind your back and attempt to catch.
c) Be careful not to scare the cub away and look for it's mother. If the cub's right here, the mother must be nearby!
d) You aren't interested in lions. Ignore it and keep looking.
Player- I choose option C, look for it's mother.
Me- You chose option C! Looking around, you see a reddish lioness nosing around a fair distance away, looking for her cub. What will you do?
a) Walk closer, you want to take a closer look.
b) Get downwind and make sure she doesn't notice you're there.
c) Go back for the cub, maybe you can get her later.
d) You don't want lions and decide to keep looking.
Why Keep them?
Some animals are calm enough to let you ride them, letting you go faster and therefore be able to catch rarer animals.
Some animals are good fighters! They will help keep predators away from weaker creatures and young, but watch out! They're often feisty!
Some females are irresistible to males. Having one of these will increase your chances of finding males!
Who knows, maybe there's more perks to come!
